Depositing with Google Pay
Select Google Pay in the cashier, choose the card and confirm. The amount is charged to that card, and the deposit is usually credited at once.
What happens behind a Google Pay payment
A virtual card number
For eligible cards, Google Wallet shares a virtual card number with the merchant instead of your actual card number.
The card's rules still apply
Spending limits, 3-D Secure checks and gambling blocks set by your bank work the same way as with a normal card payment.
Several cards in one account
Check which card is selected before you confirm, especially if you have both a personal and a shared card saved.
Withdrawals
Payouts are not made to Google Pay as such. The casino pays to the card behind it, where card payouts are supported, or to another method such as a bank transfer.
Checklist
- Pay only with cards in your own name.
- Check withdrawal options before depositing.
- Watch for currency conversion fees.
- Bank gambling blocks also stop Google Pay deposits.
Questions and answers
Is Google Pay the same as a bank transfer?
No. It is a card payment confirmed through Google, so card rules and fees apply.
Why was my Google Pay deposit declined?
Common reasons are a bank gambling block, a card limit or a failed security check. Your bank can tell you which applies.
