Three separate amounts
Spin value is the stake value assigned to one promotional spin. Bonus winnings are the actual result of those spins. A withdrawable balance is the amount the operator’s cashier identifies as available for withdrawal. These figures describe different things, even when they use the same currency.
Why the distinction matters
Funds recorded as a bonus balance may be subject to conditions before release. The total stake value of a set of spins is not a guaranteed payout. A total account balance does not, by itself, establish how much can be withdrawn. The relevant terms and the account’s balance labels explain which amount each condition applies to.
Cash, bonus and locked funds in one account
Cash balance
Money you deposited and winnings that are not tied to promotional conditions. This is usually the part the cashier can pay out.
Bonus balance
Funds credited under promotion terms, including free spin winnings. They can carry wagering, time limits and a conversion cap before release.
Which balance is used first
Operators decide whether stakes come from cash or bonus funds first. The order is written in the terms and changes how a withdrawal request affects a bonus.
An example from spins to a recorded balance
Suppose 20 promotional spins have a stake value of €0.20 each. Their combined stake value is €4. If their recorded winnings are €3, the account has received €3 in winnings, not €4. A rule expressed as 10 times those winnings would produce €30 of required qualifying turnover. All figures in this example are hypothetical.
Even after the turnover counter reaches its target, a conversion cap or another condition can affect what becomes withdrawable. Keep the spin value, the winnings and the final released amount in separate columns; combining them creates a misleading total.
What changes a balance?
An account history may include deposits, bonus credits, settled wins, reversals and withdrawals. A transfer from a bonus wallet to a cash wallet can change the labels without creating new winnings. A pending withdrawal may also be reserved from the available balance. The transaction history explains movements that the headline balance alone cannot.
With mixed funds, the order in which wallets are used and the allocation of winnings depend on the terms. A screenshot of a total balance does not reveal those rules. Compare the separate wallet entries and their timestamps.
What to ask about an unclear amount
- Which wallet does the amount belong to?
- What calculation base does the wagering counter use?
- Is the figure before or after any conversion cap?
- Does cancelling a bonus affect only bonus funds, or other displayed amounts too?
Questions and answers
Does a cash balance always mean a payment has been sent?
No. An available balance, a requested withdrawal and a completed payment are different records. The payment status and transaction reference establish the later stages.
